Cloudsurfers
The most loved, fuzz-drenched Dutch garage-hit of the moment is definitely Cloudsurfers. They were an absolute hit during the Popronde, which delivered them some incredible performances at Zwarte Cross, Into The Great Wide Open, and ESNS.
The band is inspired by the gods of garage rock, such as Osees and Ty Segall. But, on each song, they know how to generate a completely unique and new sound. Their gritty guitar music is loud, fast, and vicious. Cloudsurfers’ garage punk has clearly drawn inspiration from the psychedelic rock movement, but cleverly transformed it into a leather jacket with a ‘fuck you’ mentality.
