In the dark and brooding post-punk landscape, New York’s Dead Tooth shines like the North Star—bright, buoyant, and guiding those who seek to escape the shadows. While their sound retains an undercurrent of darkness, it’s dominated by an infectious energy and a big, unapologetic smile. For fans of dissonant, dystopian post-punk, Dead Tooth offers a refreshing burst of massive hooks and bold, biting lyrics.

What makes their rise even more exciting is that, so far, this five-piece band has only released a handful of singles and two EPs. Despite their limited discography, they’ve already garnered significant attention, opening for bands like Hand Habits, The Space Lady, and Current Joys. In early 2023, they were personally invited by Bass Drum Of Death to join their tour as direct support. Looking ahead to 2024, Dead Tooth is set to release a new EP.
