Loveth Besamoh + Max Hell
Loveth Besamoh is a 23-year-old producer and songwriter from The Hague who played percussion at church and boarding school in Cameroon, where he was born. His music dances between new wave and kraut punk, and is a merger of genres ranging from electronica, afro rock, jazz, post-punk, soul, and rhythms he grew up listening to and playing in church back home. He tries to keep his roots in all his songs, and bends genres easily to create his own psychedelic brand of music.
He started Loveth Besamoh as a solo-project and released a handful of singles and an EP, but put together a full four-piece band for his live escapades. While his music is wildly dynamic, ranging from songs that
make you think of King Krule, to others that gravitate towards Death Grips, his live shows are also highly energetic, as seen at Popronde, and on Eendrachts Festival and North Sea Round Town. One thing is for
sure, Loveth is a creative force not bound between four walls.
