The Roaring 420s
The German The Roaring 420s plays a wild mélange of 60s garage rock and psychedelics with nods to surf, krautrock, and folk. The five-piece’s energetic and fresh sound has gathered some international attention and made them share the stage multiple times with the likes of Night Beats, White Fence, and The Blank Tapes.
Their first album, What is Psych? was released on Stoned Karma Records, but for their sophomore, they started their own record label called It’s a Gas! Records, on which bands like The Blank Tapes and Sugar Candy Mountain are also represented. And not to forget that the music of The Roaring 402s was used in a commercial for fashion house Gucci. Think about a sweet, modern combination between The Thirteen Floor Elevators and the Surfaris.
This show is organised by Nospray, Rotown and V11.
