Two and a Half Girl
The forthright, wayward en refreshing mix of emo, punk and rock of the fivesome Two and a Half Girl from Utrecht is tearing through the country with dirty guitar riffs and catchy tunes. These genres are mixed seamlessly and you will be brought the best of every one of them.
After a handful of EP’s and singles their latest, four-track counting EP ‘Black Sheep’ is a wonderful release with an overwhelming honesty in both lyrics and music. The well-thought-off compositions, as well as the artwork, are brought with an astounding determination and consistency that stops for no one.
One can expect an evening of catchy riffs and emo choruses. They have made this mix of genres their own and forged it into catchy tunes that will work for both nostalgic emo-fans as well as young pop-punk lovers.
Rites
This evening will be supported by the all-destroying hardcore punk from Rites. It is clear that no one can tell them what they need to do and their stubbornness is represented in both the lyrics as well as the musical arrangements. You are assured of a planet-shattering live show full of sweaty bodies and weeping guitars.
After the live performances, V11’s dance floor opens up to everyone with a DJ on decks, free of charge! Dance nights at V11 are curated by DJ Klapsalon. Keep up to date by following us on Instagram.
