V11 x BIRD presents: Flammer Dance Band

Flammer Dance Band is a colourful indie-funk band being run by a bunch of veteran breakdancers who, years ago, had been perfecting their moves by rocking and popping to the Afro-funk of Rob, Ebo Taylor and Fela Kuti. The energetic 7-piece is all about vintage synths, spaced-out effects, hip-shaking grooves, and headbanging breaks! Tight-ass rhythm, and quality musicianship, with the freedom, spontaneity, and energy of a jam band.

While they are already household names inside their home country of Norway, attracting hundreds of listeners (and viewers, as their shows are spectacles), they now want to spread the gospel of Flammer all across Europe, including Rotterdam. Make sure to check it out!
