V11 x BIRD presents: Greg Foat with Moses Boyd

One of London’s Leading jazz pianist, composer and producer Greg Foat comes to V11 on Tuesday 25 June! Not to be missed in the UK’s jazz scene for its ‘non-contemporary jazz’ and ambient tunes. Foat’s music is inspired by elements of hymnody, global folk traditions, psychedelia, but also from ’60s, ’70s pop, soul and blues. A must-see for the true jazz lover.

We know him from his work with cult producer Gigi Masin, Bob Lind, Moses Boyd and Curtis Lundy, among others. In more recent years he has produced work with Jazzman Records, Athens Of The North and Strut. Greg Foat’s latest: Live at Can Rudayla, Ibiza is a fusion of Analog Electronic Sci-Fi Library Grooves inspired by ’70s and ’80s Sonoton catalog produced by Crystal Records.

Accompanied by none other than Moses Boyd on the drums: this drummer, producer, radio host and record producer is no small name in jazz!
