Vessel 11 is in the process of transforming into a brew pub, developing it’s own line of V11 craft beers in a brewery situated in a pontoon docked alongside the ship. We are looking for a passionate and skilled Brewer and Bar/floor Manager to join our team and help us continue delivering exceptional service and unforgettable moments to our guests.
Job Description: As a Beer Brewer and Manager at Vessel 11, you will play a crucial role in both the creation of our signature beers and the smooth operation of our pub, restaurant, and event space. This is a dynamic and multifaceted position that requires a blend of brewing expertise, leadership, and exceptional customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Beer Brewing:
  • Oversee the brewing process of V11’s unique craft beers from start to finish.
  • Maintain quality control and consistency in beer production.
  • Manage inventory and supplies related to the brewing process.
  • Develop and experiment with new beer recipes to expand our offerings.
  • Manage the cost/sales margins for the beer.
• Bar and Restaurant Management:
  • Together with a team of managers ensure the bar and restaurant operate smoothly on a daily basis.
  • Develop & role out the drinks menu for the ship
  • Manage and train bar and floor staff, fostering a positive and efficient working environment.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring an excellent experience for all guests.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee stock levels, ordering, and inventory management for both the bar.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a brewer with a solid understanding of brewing processes and equipment.
• Previous experience in bar and/or restaurant management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Passion for craft beer and delivering top-notch customer service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
